Turtle
The project started with the arrival of our two turtles, Bluey and Greenie. Children were very interested in the turtles. One of the children said they were sea turtles. So we decided to start this project and talk about the differences between sea turtle and tortoise.

We read the story about the turtles and the rabbit's running competition, and learned the concept of fast and slow from the story.
Fast and Slow experiments
We practiced scooping rice and observed the speed of how fast the rice going through different sizes of the funnels.
We practiced pouring liquids (water and corn starch mixture) and observed the speed of pouring different densities of the liquid.
We observed the cars running on the different texture surfaces.
